Privacy by design

Your identity stays yours.

Health Trial Hero was built so that research can move fast without personal details travelling with it.

  • Participant-IDs, not names. Sites browse candidates by an opaque Participant-ID. Names, dates of birth and contact details are not shown in the candidate pool.
  • Encrypted at rest. Identifying and health fields are encrypted in the database.
  • Every access is recorded. Reads and writes of protected health information go to an audit trail that cannot be edited or deleted.
  • Sponsors see aggregates. Reports shared with sponsors carry counts and Participant-IDs, never personal details.
  • Two-step sign-in. Accounts support two-step sign-in with an authenticator app.
